Case Study of Natureland Seal Sanctuary, Lincolnshire

3D Revit model
3D Revit Model of Natureland Seal Sanctuary

Project Overview

This nature sanctuary was founded in 1965 and has continued to be run by the same family.  Among the many species the sanctuary has rescued are a walrus and a hooded seal, both of which had strayed far from their natural habitats in much colder climates. The Natureland Seal Sanctuary is renowned for rescuing, caring for and releasing back into the wild. In addition, it houses other species, reptiles and exotic plants.

Bury Associates were commissioned to carry out a measured building and topographical survey of the site which was required for a partial development.  In order to capture every detail, a combination of  laser scanners and drones was used and the resulting data enabled the creation of a 3D Revit model.
