About Bury Associates

Bury Associates is a leading company carrying out Land and Measured Building Surveys across the UK. We use drones, laser scanners and other cutting-edge technologies to capture land and buildings in 3D to create precise detailed computerised drawings and 3D models for some of the UK’s top architects and engineers.

Due to continued business growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated person to join our dynamic team in the role of Revit Technician at our Worcester office. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking an interesting technical career in the geospatial sector. Key Responsibilities

  • Creating highly detailed BIM models of existing buildings and other structures in Revit using point cloud data.
  • Family creation
  • Developing and improving our existing modelling procedures
  • Liaising with clients
  • Project management
  • Quality assuring work produced by other team members to maintain high standards.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Proven experience with Revit, particularly in modelling from point clouds.
  • A relevant technical qualification in surveying, architecture, science, geography, or construction.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed instructions.

Additional Skills

The following additional skills would also be helpful but are not essential:

  • Proficiency in additional CAD software such as AutoCAD, Microstation, ArchiCAD, Vectorworks, 3DS Max, Rhino, or SketchUp.
  • Familiarity with point cloud data processing.
  • Knowledge of construction materials and methods.
  • Understanding of surveying systems and techniques.
