About Us

Bury Associates Limited was established in 1997 by Steve Bury. His aim was to provide a top-quality service to clients needing topographical and measured building surveys throughout the UK.

The company has grown steadily over the years and now includes surveyors, drone pilots, CAD operators, dedicated BIM specialists and administrative staff.

Bury Associates use the latest drones, robotic survey instruments and laser scanners. This allows even large sites to be surveyed extremely quickly and accurately. Surveys are enhanced by using network GPS to place projects onto precise Ordnance Survey co-ordinates and datum.

3D data has formed an important part of the company’s output right from the start – from the 3D AutoCAD models produced in the late 1990s of the M5/M6 interchange through to today’s highly detailed Revit Building Information Models. We supply these to some of the UK’s leading architects and engineers.

Our health and safety manual was set up under the guidance of our external consultants and is constantly reviewed and revised if necessary. Specification

All work is carried out primarily to our clients’ specifications, assisted by our own specification documents relating to producing Measured Surveys in Revit. For any other areas all work is carried out in accordance with the RICS Specification for ‘Surveys of Land, Building and Utility Services at Scales of 1:500 and Larger’.

  Have used Bury Associates for a few jobs. Generally very responsive with quotations and competitively priced for a high quality product. They are certainly capable of handling complex and historic projects. I always enjoy working with their drawings. Lead times are also generally excellent, something my clients appreciate greatly.   First time experience with Bury Associates and I would definitely use them again. They were inline with or perhaps a little more affordable than some, but it was their good comms and flexibility that made me choose them. On site, the surveyor was efficient and helpful, and carried out the survey with no fuss at all. As is normal, there were some niggles with the survey drawings, but importantly these were dealt with thoroughly and promptly by way of some very good natured communications - no push back whatsoever. Having (the excellent) Sar as a point of contact throughout was great. Overall recommended!
